I have not been able to get the remote start to work. The only thing I see is a check engine light is on. I have the Fixd scanner, it stated there is a Hood Switch needed, P257E.. If this alert is not enabled, you will hear a chime if the key fob is detected in the vehicle instead of horn chirps. When Passive Locking is equipped and enabled, it automatically locks your vehicle within several seconds after the vehicle is turned off and all doors are closed. Press and hold the vehicle information button until the screen displays "press to relearn remote key". Press the set/reset button until you see "remote key learning active". Press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob until you hear a chime. Turn the key off and remove it.
